Ingredients for my designs are not limited to commercial flowers. I often incorporate fruits and vegetables, fabrics, candles, and found objects to add interest in keeping with the purpose of the design.

Early summer meets bronze and gold

Floral design concepts change frequently- and so do my design concepts. However, a love of gardening and nature prevail in all of my work. My style is always influenced by seasonal changes; I believe in celebrating the season in design. Whether the occasion is an intimate dinner or full-sized event, a few well-designed and properly scaled arrangements are far more attractive than a dozen small attempts at creativity. I earnestly feel that floral design, like any form of good design, should follow function.
